Las Vegas Buffets Review

Welcome to the Las Vegas Buffets Review. The following is a review of the buffets that I have personally been to in Las Vegas. They are arranged by hotel/casino and are rated from one (bad) to five (excellent) plates. Prices are per person for Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Champaign Brunch and are subject to change. In case you are wondering, my favorites are Aladdin, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay.

The Strip

Aladdin - The Spice Market
Price:
Rating: 4.5 plates

Review: The Alladin buffet is one of the newest buffets in Vegas, and it is by far the best. It is reasonably priced, nicely decorated, and has a wide selection of food choices from around the world.

Bally's
Price:
Rating: 3.5 plates

Review: A more old fashion style buffet, but the food quality is excellent.

Bellagio
Price:
Rating:

Review: To be reviewed.

Caesar's Palace
Price:
Rating: 3.0 plates

Review: The true old school Vegas Buffet, with an (expensive) lobster dinner buffet on Fridays and Saturdays.

Excalibur
Price:
Rating: 2.0 plates

Review: Poor quality food and a confusing line system hurt the score here.

Holiday Inn Boardwalk - Surf Buffet
Price:
Rating: 2.0 plates

Review: A very simple and cheap buffet.

Luxor - The Pharoh's Pheast
Price:
Rating: 4.0 plates

Review: The Luxor buffet is notable because it is one of the few themed buffets. It looks like you are eating in an Egyptian archaeological dig - very cool. Good selection.

Mandalay Bay - Bayside Buffet
Price:
Rating: 4.0 plates

Review: The Mandalay Bay Buffet is top notch, with a price to match. It overlooks the pools at Mandalay Bay.

MGM
Price:
Rating: 3.0 plates

Review: Standard, if somewhat better quality fare.

Mirage
Price:
Rating: 3.0 plates

Review: Standard, if somewhat better quality fare.

Monte Carlo
Price:
Rating: 2.5 plates

Review: A bit lower quality food and not much selection.

Paris
Price:
Rating:

Review: To be reviewed.

Rio
Price:
Rating: 3.0 plates

Review: A huge variety of rather ordinary food. Still one of the few buffets where you can get hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, and milk shakes.

Treasure Island
Price:
Rating: 3.0 plates

Review: Standard, if somewhat better quality fare.

Downtown

Golden Nugget
Price:
Rating: 3.0 plates

Review: The buffet at the Golden Nugget is probably the best downtown, although it is no where near the quality of the ones on the Strip. At least it is a lot cheaper.

Any additional places that I should know about and review? Please let me know by e-mailing me the name and address so I can check it out. Thanks.
